Mansa Humanitarian Foundation/Queen Mothers' Sanctum Present:
Women of W.A.R.S
The Story
The social collapse that wars and natural disasters create pose a particular danger to women and children. As instability increases, the abuse and sexual violence of vulnerable populations often becomes more prevalent. An immediate response is critical in today’s world because the extent of these threats is already massive. In 2022, over half a billion women were living within 50 kilometers of an armed conflict area. Meanwhile, nearly three in every five cities with a population of 500,000 or more is at risk for natural disasters. Due to how many people are now at elevated risk, Women of W.A.R.S looks to develop the infrastructure and support to protect populations that are the most unsafe during any of these devastating events.

Our Response
We believe the best outcomes begin with developing support infrastructure before disasters strike. Therefore, we will begin with premeditated strategies for sanctums and deterrence products
